ART WAGNER
Art Wagner is the founder and president of Clarus Consulting, LLC. Over the past 20 years, Art has managed advertising and marketing projects from the agency side and undertaken national management and sales roles in magazine publishing.
Art's agency experience includes account management roles for clients: McDonald's, United Airlines, FedEx, Oscar Mayer and Citicorp to name a few. Art also served as the founder and president of his own agency, Blue Sky Advertising/Marketing, Inc., where under his leadership the agency worked for a number of national clients including: Warner Bros., McDonald's, Anheuser Busch, Kraft and FFI Fragrance International. During Art's tenure as Blue Sky's president, he was selected to serve as one of seven judges for Advertising Age's prestigious, "Best in Advertising" award committee. Art's other agency experience includes roles as VP/new business director and a member of an agency's executive committee.
Art's national sales and management experience in magazine publishing includes ten combined years with Playboy Enterprises, where he was as a national advertising representative and Men's Health were he served in a variety of national and sales management roles. Throughout his career, Art has played a pivotal role in client successes in every phase of the marketing mix.
As president of Clarus Consulting, Art leads a network of independent facilitators specializing in sales training and team effectiveness along with a group of creative experts focusing on the needs of the agency community. Art personally facilitates on-site employee training including a variety of personal effectiveness courses, sales training skills, presentations skills training and team effectiveness training. Art also provides strategic marketing consulting work for agencies, marketers and magazine publishers. Art recently completed his DiSC certification through Inscape Publishing, the leading publisher of research based behavioral training tools.
