Jerry Eppler, PhD

Jim Looram, PhD, is a West Point graduate with a doctorate from New York University in Sociology (Specialties in Organizational Behavior, Social Psychology & Minority Relations), Dr. Looram has completed post doctoral work at Columbia University's year long Executive Program in Organizational Development and Human Resource Management and at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

He has been a consultant to management since 1971 specializing in personal peak performance, team building and strategic planning. His industry clients include Kellogg, Weyerhaeuser, Amoco, Eastman Kodak, Digital Equipment, TRW, Dupont, Black Clawson, the Alaska Railroad, Contel,Victoria Magazine, US West, Revlon, Grant Thornton International, Oremet Titanium, Nippondenso, and Jetway International. His health care clients include Johnson & Johnson, Ortho McNeil, University of Missouri Hospitals and Clinics, Zale Lipshey Hospital, and Medic Alert International. Non profit clients include the National Lupus Foundation, The New York Chapter of the Lupus Foundation, the Guardian Angels International, and United Way. Government clients include the U.S. Forest Service, the United States Postal Service, Superintendent of Schools, Princeton NJ, the City of San Francisco, and the City of Henderson NV. For three years he led the U.S. Army's only traveling consulting team providing consulting assistance to general officers in the management of large complex systems.

He has provided public seminars in management for twenty-five years. He has presented the organizational leadership instruction for American Management Association's Course for Presidents and for fifteen years was their nationwide course leader for their Executive Effectiveness Program. Each quarter for the past ten years he has conducted his own weeklong public seminar: Personal Peak Performance: A Seminar in Personal Excellence.

Teaching assignments include three years as a Professor of Leadership at West Point, and membership on the MBA faculty of Pepperdine and Golden Gate University. He designed and directed Chapman University's graduate program in Human Resource Management and was the Director of Training for the U.S. Army's Organizational Effectiveness Center, a fully accredited graduate program which trained officers to be internal management consultants Army wide.
